Son of John COULSON and Jane ROBINSON ^[15]
He was boarding with his parents and sister Ethel with a family at 72 Raleigh Street in Scarborough in 1901 ^[20]
By 1913 he had immigrated to Western Australia, was working as a Clerk, and living at 27 Walcott Street in North Perth ^[50]
Married Lily STIRK in Kalamunda in 1917 ^[15]
In 1925 he was a Commercial Traveller and was living with his wife and sons at 40 Helena Street in the Perth suburb of Guildford ^[50]
His wife, late of Guildford, passed away at the age of 36 years on 3 February 1928 ^[2]

W.A. Young Motors Ltd were agents for Cadillac, La Salle, Buick, Oldsmobile and Chevrolet cars ^{[86: 26-Jul-1928]}
He appears to have resided for a period in Carnamah ^{[4] [120]}
Won 1st prize for Radishes at the Carnamah Agricultural Show at Centenary Park, Carnamah on 18 September 1930 ^{[4: 27-Sep-1930]}
His Lettuce won 1st prize in the Vegetable section at the Carnamah Agricultural Show on 17 September 1931 ^{[120: 1-Oct-1931]}
Later resided in Perth ^[2]
Father of John Raymond, Frederick Clive, and Frank Douglas ^[15]
Died 5 December 1952; buried at Karrakatta Cemetery in Perth, Western Australia (Anglican, ZM, 457) ^[2]
